North East Derbyshire Sub-Aqua Club (N.E.D.S.A.C.) is an affiliated branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (B.S.A.C.).

Although we are a B.S.A.C. Club, we actively encourage divers trained through other organisations, e.g. I.A.N.T.D., P.A.D.I., S.A.A. and N.A.U.I. We actively dive between April and September - this includes most Bank Holiday weekends and a couple of week long annual holidays. Recent trips have included Plymouth, Moray Firth, Farne Islands, Liverpool Bay, Dunbar, Isle of Mull, Ireland and the Red Sea

As previously mentioned training given by the Club is run through the B.S.A.C., however, advice and assistance can be given in obtaining further training from other organisations (Boat Handling, Oxygen Administration, First Aid for Divers etc.). Some courses are organised within the Club.

We have a wide diversity of qualifications and experience; we try to cater for all divers - experienced, inexperienced and those just "out of practice". We also run "Try Dive" sessions at Eckington Swimming Pool where you can get a taste of what it is like to scuba dive.

Although we are a Sub-Aqua Club, we also aim to provide a good social atmosphere, where non-diving friends or relations can join in. Apart from diving, we organise various events ranging from the annual Dinner Dance to BBQs. All members are encouraged to attend these functions as any profits go to boosting Club funds.

We are a Club of its members for its members.
