Why come?

The Manx coastline is diverse in its geology which creates areas of unspoilt natural beauty both above and below the water. That combined with ten marine nature reserves covering over half of the inshore Manx waters allows for high levels of biodiversity. Giving you lots of species to spot whilst diving.

We will be aiming to have a mixed itinerary to explore the manx dive sites, including wrecks and scenic dives, which are subject to conditions and sign up. For this trip you need to be at least an advanced ocean diver or higher. There should also be opportunities to do depth progressions. Speak to the DO if you have any concerns.

Accommodation

There are two options: either sort yourself out, otherwise we can stay as a group in the dive centre sleeping up to 14 people. The third floor flat consists of the Tower room with a bunk and 2 single beds (up to 4 persons), a One Double room (up to 2 persons) and a Bunk room with 2 bunks and 4 single beds (up to 8 persons).

If in the group accommodation add £30 for the number of nights you want to stay.. If you also want to sort yourself then let me know in the sign up form.

Food

The accommodation has a kitchen so you can self cater for meals.

You will need to take lunch on the boat as only light refreshments are provided on the boat.

Evening meal plans will be organised nearer the time.

Costs

The cost of the trip will vary depending on your needs.

The diving is charged at £85 per person

-4 day Dive only – £340

– 4-day diving with shared accom above the dive centre 4 nights in DD accommodation – £460.

As always, personal cost is dependent on fuel and how much you choose to eat out. The finalised cost will be communicated once sign-up is complete. Do not forget money for breathing gas as well. For reference a 12L air fill was £7.56 in August 2025.

You will also need to get across to the island. This can be done either by taking a short flight (remember that BSAC suggests you wait 24 hours between diving and flying if possible) or ferry crossing from Liverpool or Heysham. Car sharing is also recommended.
